Since it is the beginning of the year, a great time for making fresh starts, I want to continue with tips that will help your students correct their string technique.
Do you make up fun names for incorrect technique as a way to remind your students to fix their problems?
If you do, you need to watch this video. Make sure you watch it to the punchline!
So, after watching this video, I hope you are convinced to stop bringing your students’ attention to what you don’t want. It is much more effective to give most, if not all, of your attention to what you do want.
This small change will not only help your students, but it will help you. It will change your perspective and how you see things as a teacher. You will find yourself seeing more solutions rather than problems.
By learning to focus only on what you want, your effectiveness as a teacher will increase and you will enjoy your job more. It has definitely had this effect on me, which is why I wanted to share it with you. Give it a try!
Let me know if this post helps you – hearing from you keeps me doing what I’m doing! Also, let me know if you want me to share more tips like this.
